Lumecca® is suitable for all body parts. However, the most common treatment areas are those regularly exposed to the sun, such as the face, neck, décolleté, legs, hands, and arms.

During the treatment, the Lumecca® device will emit a bright flash of light, and you will feel a pinch similar to the snap of an elastic band on the skin. It's normal for the skin to become red and slightly warm to the touch after treatment. These reactions usually disappear within an hour after treatment.

Over the next 24 to 48 hours, pigmented spots will become darker. In the following week, the lesions will desquamate (peel), and your skin will return to a uniform color. After treatment of vascular lesions, the vein may turn white, disappear, or change color. These effects will dissipate within a few days.

Most clients experience no side effects, and skin reactions usually disappear within a few hours. The skin may be sensitive to light immediately after treatment. It is therefore recommended to avoid sun exposure and tanning.

You will notice an improvement in your skin's appearance after the first session. Multiple sessions will further enhance the results. The number of treatments depends on the severity of the lesions, skin type, type of treatment (vascular or pigmented lesions), and energy parameters.

You will notice a reduction in sun spots and an improvement in your complexion a few days after the first session. The skin will look increasingly young and radiant over time, with optimal results after one or two weeks.

Multiple photofacial treatment sessions will improve the final result. For vascular treatments, such as facial telangiectasias, optimal results may take up to two weeks.
